Saber-tooth cat engulfed in snakes. Completed in 2021.

In the deep waters of Earth's ocean, Cephro, a golden-tentacled alien from Zquaa, floated peacefully, his head encased in a glass tank of pink liquid from his home planet. He paused, spotting a strange flower swaying gently in the current. With careful precision, he plucked it, turning it in his tentacles and marveling at its delicate petals. "What a curious thing," he mused, holding it up to his tank for closer inspection. With a satisfied hum, he tucked the flower into a tentacle loop and swam off, grinning. "Earth’s got some nice souvenirs!"
I completed this sleeve in 2021 on a client who became a good friend of mine. I honestly don't remember where the idea came from, but it was a lot of fun to execute. I love goofy aliens in big dome helmets. I'm not sure why.
Ryan is one of my best and toughest clients. He regularly sleeps through what most people would consider excruciating pain. He always shows up to every appointment, fills in for cancellations whenever they're available, smells nice, and tips well. Thanks, dude.
Mothra is a colossal, moth-like kaiju in the Godzilla universe, celebrated for her role as a guardian of nature and humanity. First introduced in her own film in 1961, she is often depicted as a benevolent force, emerging from her cocoon to protect Earth from powerful adversaries. Known for her stunning, iridescent wings and ability to fly gracefully through the air, Mothra possesses a unique connection to the environment, often drawing strength from the earth and the prayers of those who revere her. Accompanied by the twin fairies known as the Shobijin, she symbolizes hope and resilience, frequently sacrificing herself to ensure the balance of nature is restored, making her both a formidable ally and a beloved icon in the kaiju genre.
Thanks, Kelly
Everything in this photo is fully healed and settled. Photos were taken outside in the sunlight on a cold day; thus the goosebumps. I think it makes her look frozen.
Sleeve finished in 2019

Critters in victorian costume. A gentleman walrus and a lady sloth. These were tattooed several years apart. The Sloth was first; healed and settled nicely.
A good dog and his blueberry. Nothing much more to say about it. I love doing pet portraits.
Grendel is one of the primary antagonists in the epic poem Beowulf, portrayed as a fearsome, monstrous creature descended from Cain, the biblical figure who committed the first murder. Residing in the dark marshes, Grendel embodies the chaos and malevolence that threatens the order of the human world. Metal.
Thanks M
This guy came to me with an idea for a leg sleeve featuring a series of cartoon dads merged with various characters.
We've got Rick Sanchez of Rick and Morty merged with Stan Lee, from Marvel Comics.
Homer Simpson as Johnny Depp's Hunter S. Thompson's Raoul Duke
And Hank Hill as Indiana Jones
There was also a Bob Belcher as Marty McFly, but that one didn't photograph great, so you don't get to see it. Sorry.
Just another tattoo of a very loved dog
A mountain grizzly full sleeve. Thanks Brad
In a shocking turn of events, a localized disaster struck the coastal town of Bodega Bay when a cargo ship inadvertently dropped its load of barrels filled with toxic goo into the bay, leading to the rapid mutation of local marine life into colossal, grotesque versions of their former selves. As giant crabs and fish began wreaking havoc on the shores, the situation escalated when a peculiar UFO-like craft descended from the skies, unleashing a devastating barrage of bright green laser beams that scorched buildings and sent residents fleeing in terror. Amidst the chaos and destruction, one solitary house perched on a cliff remained unscathed, its inhabitants watched with bemusement from their window, completely unaware that they had become the unlikely eye of a storm that had transformed their quiet town into a bizarre battlefield of mutant creatures and alien invaders. While the townsfolk grappled with the surreal aftermath, speculation swirled about the origins of both the toxic spill and the bizarre craft, leaving Bayview forever altered in the wake of this catastrophic event.
A full sleeve of a sandhill crane and oranges. All Florida everything. This was a lot of fun. I think we won an award or two for it. Thanks Dani
My take on Rat Fink in an old Chevy in an old Floridian setting.
The iconic Rat Fink character was created by artist Ed "Big Daddy" Roth in the late 1950s. Roth, a pioneer in the world of hot rod culture and custom car design, introduced Rat Fink as a grotesque and exaggerated caricature of Mickey Mouse's antithesis.
Initially conceived as an anti-hero figure, Rat Fink quickly became a symbol of rebellion and counterculture, especially among teenagers and young adults in the 1960s. Roth's creation tapped into the burgeoning American subculture surrounding hot rods, drag racing, and custom cars. Rat Fink merchandise, including t-shirts, stickers, and model kits, became highly popular and helped solidify Rat Fink as an enduring icon of the era.
The Samurai on the back was the first project I finished for Paul. Since then we've completed two rib panels, and two sleeves, which I've photographed to varying degrees of success. Paul is the closest living thing to a real samurai that I personally know. Thanks for always sitting like a rock.
The Celtic Leaf Man, also known as the Green Man, is a symbolic figure in ancient Celtic mythology, representing the cycle of life, death, and rebirth tied to nature. Often depicted as a face emerging from or entirely made of leaves and vines, the Leaf Man embodies the spirit of the forest, symbolizing growth, fertility, and the interconnectedness of all living things. He is believed to be a guardian of the natural world, watching over the changing seasons and ensuring the balance of nature. In Celtic art, the Green Man frequently appears in carvings on old churches and stonework, a reminder of the ancient reverence for the earth and its regenerative powers, blending pagan traditions with later Christian symbols of renewal and resurrection.
The St. Michael and demon motif is a powerful symbol in Christian art and iconography, depicting the archangel Michael triumphantly defeating a demon or Satan himself, often represented as a dragon or monstrous figure. As the leader of heaven’s army, St. Michael is shown wielding a sword or spear, standing victoriously over the subdued demon, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. This imagery stems from the biblical story in the Book of Revelation, where Michael leads the angels in a celestial battle against the forces of darkness. The motif has become a visual representation of divine justice, protection, and the ultimate victory of righteousness over sin, serving as both a religious inspiration and a reminder of the ongoing spiritual struggle between good and evil.
We did the Jesus on his back first, but I never managed to get any great photos of that tattoo, so I hid it here. Thanks for lookin.
This dude made several trips to Florida from Virginia to get tattooed. Thanks Brett, you absolutely rule.

Animal, the wild and chaotic drummer of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, is one of the most iconic Muppets, known for his unrestrained energy and primal drumming style. With his shaggy red fur, crazed expressions, and a seemingly endless supply of enthusiasm, Animal has been pounding the drums since his debut, embodying the raw, untamed spirit of rock and roll. Despite his often unpredictable behavior—like chasing after women or attacking his drum kit—Animal has carved out a legendary career, performing alongside real-life music icons and becoming a fan favorite. His simple but memorable vocabulary, usually consisting of growls and shouts of "Beat drums!" reflects his singular focus on rhythm, making him a symbol of rock's rebellious and unrefined soul. Whether on stage or in wild interviews, Animal’s presence has solidified him as the ultimate rock drummer in Muppet history.
The imagery of a skeleton adorned with a floral headdress serves as a profound symbol of the delicate balance between life and death, embodying the cycle of existence in a strikingly beautiful manner. The skeleton, often representing mortality and the inevitable nature of death, contrasts sharply with the vibrant colors and textures of the flowers, which signify life, renewal, and the ephemeral beauty of nature. This juxtaposition evokes a sense of acceptance and harmony, reminding us that death is not an end but rather an integral part of the life cycle, where decay gives way to new growth. The floral headdress transforms the skeleton from a mere symbol of death into a celebration of life, illustrating how beauty can emerge from the shadows of mortality and prompting us to cherish each moment, recognizing that life and death are inextricably intertwined.
Zeus (I always want to spell that wrong) and compass for Brett from Virginia
Zylox, a brainy cephalopod alien from the distant planet of Xylar, is a formidable presence in the cosmos, known for his immense intelligence and strategic prowess. With a body that shimmers in a striking golden hue, Zylox’s eight agile tentacles allow him to maneuver effortlessly through the galaxy. His most striking features are his large, expressive eyes that seem to glow with cunning intellect and a hint of mischief. Menacingly wielding a blue lightsaber in one tentacle and a sleek ray gun in the other, he navigates the fine line between heroism and villainy, often using his advanced technology to outsmart his foes. Though he can be ruthless when pursuing his goals, Zylox harbors a complex personality that balances his thirst for knowledge with a curious fascination for Earth’s cultures, leading him to occasionally engage in unexpected alliances—or chaotic confrontations—across the universe.
Brainy cephalopod alien with a bright blue light saber and a ray gun. Always fun to make us these goofy creatures. Thanks Jason
